Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2004 X-Type Estate and there was a problem with the touch screen, it would only respond to touch in the centre. Your video was a great help in removing the unit and then I just took it apart and put it back together again and everything worked fine.

Just wanting to send you guys and your website a huge thankyou! I spent hours attempting to remove and replace a Toyota Camry stereo without much luck. I consulted your website, found how to remove the thing and then managed to print off a wire diagram of the old stereo also. Without this wonderful information, I don't think that I stood a chance!

Hi Bob,

I wanted to up date you on my progress.

Today I went to a local mechanic who is a certified Mercedes Benz mechanic and he had the tools to remove the radio. As you stated the vehicle wiring and fiber optics were not hooked up to the radio head. After plugging in the items the CD changer came to life.

I still am having a problem ejecting the CD magazine. I have to tap the player to get all the trays to retract so the magazine will eject. Maybe because it is a new magazine and an old player. I will have to live with that.
